This project included renovations and additions to a 1950’s ranch style house in Austin, Texas.  The Client desired a stronger identification of the entrance to their home and more openness to the kitchen and living areas.  They were also interested in incorporating materials and colors reflective of southwestern architectural traditions.  A new front porch and sitting room now redefine the old entry area with contrasting coloration to clarify the location of the front door.
